DSPs play a vital role in helping residents live safe, comfortable, and meaningful lives while promoting independence and dignity in a home environment. This is a rewarding position for individuals who are patient, caring, and passionate about helping others.

• Provide daily care and supervision to residents in the group home
   
• Assist residents with daily living skills such as cooking, cleaning, hygiene, and organization
   
• Support residents with personal care as needed
   
• Encourage independence, social interaction, and participation in activities
   
• Prepare meals and assist with household routines
   
• Ensure a safe and supportive home environment
   
• Support residents with emotional regulation and positive behavior strategies

• Administer medications according to prescribed schedules and program policies
   
• Accurately document medication administration and daily care notes
   
• Document daily activities, progress, and any incidents
   
• Communicate with staff and supervisors regarding resident needs

Vocational Trainers play an important role in helping participants develop independence, confidence, and real-world workplace skills. This position involves supporting individuals during community outings, volunteer placements, and skill-building activities while ensuring safety and engagement. This is a great opportunity for individuals interested in human services, special education, psychology, or community-based support programs.

• Teach job readiness skills, including punctuality, teamwork, and following instructions.
   
• Provide coaching and encouragement to help participants complete tasks successfully.
   
• Support participants with street safety and community awareness, including safe street crossing, navigation, and following safety guidelines
   
• Encourage independence, confidence, and positive social interactions.
   
• Model appropriate workplace behavior and communication.
   
• Document participant progress and daily activities
   
• Work collaboratively with staff to support individual goals.
